We were lucky enough to stay at The Ranch  and I can assure you, we did not want to leave.

The Ranch became our sanctuary to ease our stresses in a time we needed it and it even brought our family closer together.

Everything at the Ranch had been so carefully thought out, we wanted for nothing, all the essentials and the appliances top notch and in tip top condition. We baked more than ever before on the wonderful traditional range, the AGA, Lemon Drizzle Cake and Victoria Sponges and we enjoyed cooking American pancakes directly onto the old-style hotplates, this was a family favourite.

The grounds so beautiful and our morning coffee and breakfast taken outside with the bird song, the humming of bees, and the scent of the summer flowers in an absolute English garden dream.

For sleep, the sheets were clean, white and crisp as if we were staying in a 5* luxury hotel and we each had our own room and the privacy of at least 5 bathrooms so no queueing in this house.

​

We didn’t want to escape The Ranch much, but when we did, we couldn’t want for more beautiful walks which were right on our doorstep, as were the enchanting wandering pheasants.
